The Shimano Genpu XT 200PG is a compact and versatile baitcast reel designed for light jigging, slow jigging and general inshore boat fishing. Its small profile makes it comfortable to palm and fish with throughout the day, while still providing the line capacity and cranking power needed for fishing in deeper water.

The 200PG features a lower 5.5:1 gear ratio that provides controlled, powerful winding when working jigs and fighting fish. A 60mm long crank handle paired with a large CI4+ round knob provides additional leverage and a secure grip when the reel is under load.

Shimano's Super Free Spool system reduces friction on the spool shaft for smooth freespool performance, while shielded S A-RB bearings provide added protection against salt and sand. With 5kg of maximum drag and capacity for 200m of PE2 braid, it's a great option for snapper, trevally and other inshore species.
