A lightweight and well balanced Shimano slow jig combo pairing the compact Genpu XT 200PG with the 26 Taipan 6'6" Slow Jig Overhead Rod. This exact rod and reel pairing is also sold as a combo by Smart Marine.

The Genpu XT 200PG packs plenty of capability into a compact reel that's comfortable to palm and easy to fish with throughout the day. Its 5.5:1 gear ratio provides controlled winding for working slow jigs, while the large CI4+ round handle knob and 60mm crank handle provide good leverage when a fish loads up. With 5kg of maximum drag and capacity for 200m of PE2 braid, it's well suited to lighter inshore jigging.

Matched with the 26 Taipan 6'6" overhead rod, the 10–20lb braid rating creates a responsive setup for slow jigging for snapper and other inshore species. The integrated graphite blank provides a lighter, more responsive feel while retaining the toughness needed for regular saltwater fishing. Fuji O Guides provide smooth line flow, while custom EVA grips give a secure and comfortable hold.
