The TrailMate Water Filter Straw is a compact, lightweight water filtration system designed for hiking, tramping, camping, hunting and emergency use.

Weighing just 58g, it takes up virtually no room in your pack and allows you to filter water directly from freshwater sources such as rivers, streams, lakes and ponds. The 0.2 micron hollow-fibre UF membrane combined with a coconut activated carbon filter helps remove waterborne bacteria, protozoa, dirt and sediment.

It can also screw directly onto bottles with a standard 28mm fitting, or be used with the included water bag and extension tube – handy when you want to fill up and filter water on the move rather than drinking directly from the source.

With a filter life of up to 2,000 litres and no batteries or chemicals required, it’s a handy bit of kit for the trail, vehicle or emergency pack.
