The Torium Type J 1500HGA features a high speed 6.2:1 gear ratio with a fast 117cm retrieve per crank, making it ideal for working jigs quickly through the water column. Shimano's rigid HAGANE Body helps keep the gearing aligned under load, while Infinity Drive provides lighter and more powerful winding when retrieving heavy jigs or fighting fish from depth. With 10kg of maximum drag and capacity for 400m of PE3 braid, it is a great match for this rod.

The Descent Type J is a compact 5'8" one piece overhead rod rated to PE3 and jigs up to 200g. Its short length provides excellent control when jigging vertically from the boat, while the spiral guide configuration helps reduce blank twist when the rod is loaded up.
