The Dual Force Drag (DFD) system combines a traditional top drag stack with an oversized Carbonite drag washer beneath the spool, delivering up to 20kg of smooth, consistent drag while improving spool stability under heavy pressure.

A dual anti-reverse system, incorporating both a one-way clutch bearing and a mechanical ratcheting anti-reverse, provides dependable hook sets and added reliability. Okuma's Mechanical Stabilisation System (MSS) keeps the drive train perfectly aligned under load, while the oversized 6mm stainless steel spool shaft and 8mm brass spool shaft sleeve maximise strength and maintain smooth drag performance even at high drag settings.
