The Daiwa Tanacom 56HT is a purpose built heavy electric rod designed for serious deep water fishing.
Built on a composite graphite blank, it combines plenty of lifting power with a forgiving action for handling heavy loads during repeated deep drops.
The rod is fitted with Seaguide heavy duty stainless steel frame guides and a swivel tip, helping keep the line tracking correctly under load. At 5'6" with a heavy power rating and PE6–10 line class, it's built for demanding deep water applications and use with electric fishing reels.
Daiwa recommends the Tanacom 56HT for use with smaller 300 size electric reels.
